Terms of use

Use MaskSnap carefully.

MaskSnap helps you prepare images for sharing, but you remain responsible for the final review and the material you process.

Effective August 17, 2026

The service

MaskSnap provides browser-based image redaction, metadata removal, local pattern detection, and an optional AI-assisted review. Features may change while the service is in active development.

Your responsibility

You must have the right to process and share every image you use. Review the entire exported image before publishing it. Automated detection can miss sensitive information or mark harmless content, and it is not a substitute for your judgment.

Credentials and urgent leaks

If a password, API key, token, card number, or other credential may already have been exposed, revoke or rotate it immediately. Creating a redacted copy does not undo an earlier disclosure.

Acceptable use

Do not use MaskSnap to violate law, privacy, intellectual property, contractual duties, or the rights of another person. Do not probe, overload, bypass limits, automate abusive traffic, or attempt unauthorized access to the service.

No guarantee

The service is provided as available without a guarantee that every sensitive detail will be found or that access will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, MaskSnap is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
